I see myself as an entrepreneur, during the past four years I studied BSc (Hons) Computing - Computer Communications degree course at Leeds Metropolitan University.
My final year project was based on "The use of Ethernet Simulations as a teaching tool", an evaluation/development type project based on investigating and evaluating current Simulation Teaching tools available in higher education institutions as a teaching aid. Upon completion of the project, a prototype simulation teaching package will be developed and used at the university to help support learning of some hard to comprehend concepts of computing.
It has long been argued that the use of visual aids for teaching and learning is very effective in capturing the learners attention, but generally simulation teaching tools are lacking in academic institutions. Please refer to the project proposal for more details on simulation packages
